About

Lukrezia Atelier is where you’ll find one-of-a-kind crochet pieces and clear, well-structured patterns to spice up your handmade wardrobe. If you love vintage- inspired garments with a long life and strong personal character, you’re in the right place.

My name is Cecilia, and I run this studio from my home in Berlin.
I’ve been designing and making clothes for over 15 years, first in fashion school, then as a form of personal expression and slow fashion practice. My background in fashion design and visual communication shapes everything I create.

I discovered crochet three years ago, and it immediately became one of my main design tools. Thanks to my pattern-making experience and technical understanding of garment construction, I approach crochet with a designer’s eye: fit, structure, and wearability come first, then aesthetics.

Here you’ll find garments you can enjoy, customize, and keep long-term. Whether you follow a pattern or choose a finished piece, my goal is to help you create something that feels truly yours.

Also talk to me about birds, math and fashion history!

Workshops

Before focusing fully on designing crochet patterns, I taught a few hands-on, beginner-friendly workshops in Berlin. These sessions helped me understand exactly where makers struggle, what could be misunderstood, and so on.

Intro to Crochet: Complete beginners learned how to hold hook and yarn, basic stitches, tension, while creating small fruit or rainbow slice charms. I prepared custom step-by-step patterns with extra hand-drawn illustrations, and individual guidance so that everyone finished a project they could take home.

Basics of Tapestry Crochet: This more technical workshop introduced colorwork chart reading, color changes, and managing multiple colors without cutting the yarn. Participants practiced on a checkered square, building confidence before moving to advanced patterns.

Although I currently don't run workshops, these teaching experiences influence every pattern I create.
