About the owner

Cecilia Kugler is a Berlin-based crochet designer with a background in fashion and narrative design. DIY fashion enthusiast, lover of art deco and math enjoyer. She makes almost everything in black and white because

"I don't like to get surprised by yellow yarns not looking yellow enough. It's often too pale, orange or too mustardy. Black is always black, white is always white, mix them together into crazy patterns - they look great. I need to learn yarn dyeing or find an always vibrant colored yarn supplier."

With years of freelance experience as a visual and motion designer, and work as an event manager for various associations, she now brings these skills to designing user-friendly crochet patterns and local crochet workshops, creating a space where people can learn, create, and connect.
